In Manaus, Amazonas, children and youth under protection program.

Witnesses homicides, victims of attacks committed in the name of the drug, children and teens end up having enough information to make forged empires crumble over the addiction.

A total of 25 children and adolescents, witnesses of crimes related mainly to drug trafficking, are on the list of people scheduled to die at the hands of criminals and gangs specialized in the spread of drug trafficking in the capital cities and the Metropolitan Region of Manaus , Amazonas, according to the State Department of Social Services (Seas).

This accelerates the need for measures to ensure their survival through full protection and immediate withdrawal of the risk environment.

This is where comes in the Program for the Protection of Children and Adolescents Threatened with Death (PPCAM), which had membership of the State last August, a partnership between the Department of Justice of Amazonas (Sejus) and State Department of Social Services (Seas ).
