  Isabel Cristina da Silveira, Jorge Beltran Negromonte da Silveira and Bruna Cristina Oliveira da Silva were convicted of killing the homeless Jessica Camila da Silva Pereira, in May 2008, and besides, they have practiced cannibalism with the body of the teenager, 17 years of age.

The trial ended on Friday (14), in Olinda (PE). Negromonte was sentenced to 21 years confinement and a year and six months in prison, while Elizabeth and Bruna were sentenced to 19 years in prison plus a year in detention.

The cannibals criminals killed Jessica and cut her body into several parts. Then Isabel, Bruna and Negromonte ate the flesh of the victim. Jessica's daughter, about 1 year old at the time of the crime, would also have eaten human flesh, given by the defendants. 

"The killers are part of a religious sect called " The Cartel " and that the death of the teenager, as well as all other acts committed by the accused, would be the 'purification' of the victim, whose flesh was consumed with meals "according to prosecutors.
